Caregiver support groups

Caregiver support groups offer family caregivers the opportunity to share their experiences and learn from others dealing with similar issues.

There are many caregiver support groups located throughout the greater Cleveland / Akron OH area. If you don’t see a support group to your liking listed below, we suggest that you contact your local senior center, hospital, church, senior organization or an association which focuses on specific diseases such as Alzheimer’s. You don’t have to go it alone!

MetroHealth invites you to a Caregiver’s Support Group. You are welcome to join this free, open group at any time. The primary  purpose of the group is to offer peer support and information for caregivers.

Caregiver’s Club

When did I become the parent? Come to this enlightening support group for those individuals who are faced with the challenges of overseeing a parent or spouse through their senior years. This group will focus on expert advice and the sharing of ideas on coping with the stresses of caregiving.

Offers nummerous support groups for family members, friends and caregivers. All Support Groups are offered free of charge.
