There are many caregiver support groups located throughout the greater Tallahassee FL area. If you don’t see a support group to your liking listed below, we suggest that you contact your local senior center, hospital, church, senior organization or an association which focuses on specific diseases such as Alzheimer’s. You don’t have to go it alone!

ALS Support Groups
ALS Association Florida Chapter
The ALS Association Florida Chapter offers comprehensive support and resources for persons diagnosed with ALS, their families and caregivers. Our staff is available Monday through Friday to answer any questions you may have. Stroke / Brain Injury Support Groups
The National Stroke Association offers numerous stroke caregiver support groups throughout Florida Locations are available online.
The Tallahassee Memorial NeuroScience Center offers The Big Bend Brain Injury Support Group for survivors of brain injury, their families and professionals in related fields. The meetings are held in the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. For more information, call 850-431-5766.
Stroke Support Group
The Stroke Support Group is for stroke survivors and their families.
The meetings are held at HarborChase Senior Living Community, 100 John Knox Road. A light lunch is provided. For more information, call 850-431-5002.
Big Bend Brain Injury Support Group
Offered by the TMH Neuro-Science Center for survivors of brain injury, family and professionals. Meets at Conference Room A (Cafeteria) of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. 431-5037.
Multiple Sclerosis Support Groups
Tallahassee Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group
The Tallahassee MS Support Group is sponsored by the National MS Society and serves as a resource for adults with MS and their caregivers. The group meets at the Lafayette Park Center (501 Ingleside Ave., Tallahassee 32303). For more information call 850-385-5956.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society North Florida Chapter
Offers programs and services year-round to the 18,000 people affected by MS in the local community and raises critical funds to ensure ongoing scientific research to find a cause.
