There are many caregiver support groups located throughout the greater Youngstown OH area. If you don’t see a support group to your liking listed below, we suggest that you contact your local senior center, hospital, church, senior organization or an association which focuses on specific diseases such as Alzheimer’s. You don’t have to go it alone!

Catholic Charities Serving Portage and Stark Counties’ Caregiver Support Group provides support and education for not only caregivers who care for their loved ones living at home, but also for those who have had to place the ones they love in a nursing home. Our Caregiver Support Group meets at Reno Drive in Louisville. Our social worker also leads a Caregiver Support Group at the Rodman Library 215 East Broadway St. Alliance, Ohio 44461. Comprehensive Stroke Center at University Hospitals Neurological Institute
Cleveland Stroke Club
With locations at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and St. John Medical Center, the Comprehensive Stroke Center at University Hospitals Neurological Institute provides support groups on the east and west sides of Cleveland to help patients and their families cope with the emotional and mental strain that a stroke can cause.
