(AMERICAN COLLEGE OF RHEUMATOLOGY) According to a recent press release, patients with ankylosing spondylitis or psoriatic arthritis who take statins may have as much as a 33 percent lower mortality risk, according to new research findings presented this week at the American College of Rheumatology Annual Scientific Meeting in Washington.
