Find Hospice Care Near You
Hospice care in the U.S. involves a team-oriented approach towards providing end of life expert medical care, pain management, and spiritual and emotional support directed to the patient’s needs and wishes. In most cases, support is provided to the patient’s loved ones as well. Hospice and palliative care organizations and providers throughout the United States operate with the belief that each of us has the right to die pain-free and with dignity, and that our families will receive the necessary support to allow us to do so.
Most often, hospice services can be provided in the comfort of the patient’s own home. In cases where the “hospice care at home” model is not an option, hospice care may also be available in freestanding hospice centers, hospitals, and nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.
